Realme launched Realme 5 Pro after their recent launch of Realme 3 and 3 Pro. Realme 5 Pro is powered with Snapdragon 712 chipset which is slightly better than SD 710, but what is the Unique Selling Price of the product, why the product is Pro and is it really a value for money product, let’s understand.

Realme 5 Pro comes with a gorgeous design and various color options. The phone is powered with SD 712 which is based on Kryo 360 CPU and can clock up to 2.3 GHz, SD 7102 is based on 10 nm process technology, so it is power efficient too. The main highlight of the product is its cameras.

Realme 5 Pro has Quad rear camera setup. A 48 f/1.8 MP main shooter (IMX 586), 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 2 MP f/2.4 macro lens and 2 MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The phone has 16 MP front camera which is weird for me because Realme 3 Pro has a better front camera (25 MP f/2.0 so why this downgrade). But it is rare to see four cameras in this price segment and kudos to Realme for this.

The phone has 4035 mAh battery which should easily pass a day on heavy usage because SD 712 is based on 10nm process technology and consumes less power. Realme 5 Pro is supported by VOOC 3.0 (20 W charging), which is as per claim by the company should charge your phone up to 50 % in 30 mins. The display is 6.3 inches FHD+ LCD panel in which has good colors and viewing angles.

Now is it really worth the money? So my answer is ‘YES’ and it justifies it ‘Pro’ tag. The phone is providing real value for money and by paying INR 14k, you are getting a good display, great cameras, great battery life, great design and looks, fast charging support, amazing color options. The market is becoming competitive day by day and phones are coming with better product value too, if someone by paying INR 14k getting so much value, hence the need of a flagship or high-end phones become less. I understand that the phone does not have premium materials and made out of plastic but plastic phones definitely last long because they do not break if dropped. You can buy the phone on https://www.flipkart.com/ from 04 September.

This is a highly recommended phone. However, it has already got a competitor (mi A3), which has different value propositions. I will compare these two phones soon and will come up with a conclusion, so stay tuned and thanks for reading, cheers 🙂 Let me know your feedback or queries by commenting.
