Xiaomi recently launched their two new mid-range phones, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro, both the phones share a similar design factor. The major difference is with the chipset and the camera. Redmi Note 7 has Snapdragon 660 wherein Redmi Note 7 pro has Snapdragon 675. Redmi note 7 pro has 48 MP main camera complemented with 5 MP depth sensor, and it has clearly a better camera as compared with Note 7.
Xiamoi is more aggressive this time in terms of pricing and performance and they seem more customer focused. The company is selling Redmi Note 7 Pro with a starting price of 13999 INR which is very appealing considering the camera and performance. The cherry on top is the battery performance, the phone comes with 4000 mAh battery, so you are getting a good camera, good display, excellent battery, USB Type C, Gorilla Glass 5 Protection front and back. What else the customers need in just 14k INR.
Having said that, the phone also comes with Android Pie along with MIUI, p2i Nano Coating (to prevent water damage) and quick charge 4. Redmi Note 7 nailed in all the departments the only downside I see is the polycarbonate or the plastic body, but this comes to the personal preference and using the phone with a case can prevent all sort of damages.
A great product with this price point and can easily be recommended. This phone ticks all the corners and provides real value. You might not feel the need for a flagship device after getting this.
